A Day of Mindfulness at Ananda Ashram
June 12, 2026. 10am-5pm
Set in Nature and intentionally attuned to a slower pace of life, this day-long program combines gentle movement, deep relaxation, quiet reflection, and community.
The goal is to offer a peaceful and restorative day at Ananda Ashram, while introducing simple practical skills to help manage stress, restore balance, and support overall well-being.

Who is this for?
Almost anyone can benefit from this program, but we also invite individuals with the following conditions:
Parkinson’s Disease
Functional Neurological Disorders
Migraine and Sensory Sensitivity
Tremor, Restless Leg, or other Movement Disorders
Age-Related Cognitive Changes
Participants should be able to walk hills without difficulty.
Schedule: Friday June 12, 2026
10:30am – 12:30pm:
Gentle movement, breathwork, education
2:30-5:00pm:
Breathwork and deep relaxation: Sound bath and Yoga Nidra.
In between these two group sessions, you are free to enjoy lunch at the Ashram ($20) or on your own, spend quiet time in nature, rest, or connect with others in the community. The program is intentionally designed to create space from the pace and obligations of daily life.

$65 per session. $130 for the full day.
A vegetarian lunch and dinner are available for $20 each, payable directly to Ananda Ashram.

Your Instructors:
Sarah Mulukutla, MD MPH FAAN is a neurologist, meditation instructor, and neuroscience researcher. She designed this program after 10 years of working with patients in this mind-body work, and has invited expert movement and sound-based practitioners to join her for this special day. David Hollander E-RYT-500 has taught yoga for close to 30 years. He is a co-director of the Ananda Ashram Yoga Teacher training.
